As we enter the cold/flu/allergy season there are many different reasons for a student to feel less than 100%. Allergies and common colds have many symptoms in common with Covid-19. As much as we want to see your student here at Powell for in-person learning, please do not send them to school if they have any symptoms of Covid-19. Even if they are mild and you think they may be allergy-related, we ask you to keep your student at home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours.
These symptoms include:
Sore throat
Headache
Nausea
Runny nose or congestion
Vomiting
Fatigue
Diarrhea
Muscle or body aches
Fever
Loss of taste or smell
New or worsening cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
It's a great day to be a healthy Puma.
