8th grade students, Do you have great listening skills? Are you good at solving problems? Are you good at listening and helping others solve problems? Well then you should consider becoming a Student Ambassador! Student Ambassadors are 8th grade student who help other students figure out a solution to an issue or a conflict that has risen between two (or more) other students in a peaceful manner and looks to make sure that all voices in the conflict are heard. So, if this sounds like you, please pick up a purple application located on Mr. Chavers door. Applications are due this Friday, August, 30th. Please turn them in to either Mr.Chavers or Mrs. Durbin in the attendance office. Thanks for your attention and good luck to all of you that are applying!

Don't forget our 4th annual community kickball tournament is Friday, September 6th! Gather your team, grab a sign up packet from the attendance office, and get ready to have some fun! Only the first 18 teams to turn in their completed sign up packets will be entered into the tournament, but there will be plenty of fun for everyone including lawn games, Kona Ice, and, of course, Tacos! That's right, can you say, "Carnitas Tacos with salsa"???

Attention all 7th grade girls. Your volleyball season begins tomorrow. If you'd like to play volleyball for Powell this year, please meet your coaches in the gym after school tomorrow.

Attention 8th graders: This is “Baby Ad” season! If your parents are planning to submit a Baby Ad for this year’s The Prowl yearbook, it must be done by OCT 4TH. There are instructions for creating the ad on the Powell website and this is your opportunity to help your parents with this and make sure you approve of the picture they choose. See Mrs Manculich with questions.
