Good morning Pumas! Want to kick start your Tuesday? Need to make up a PE workout? Join us in the gym for TMF - Tuesday Morning Fitness. The school opens at 8 and TMF runs from 8:10-8:45. No sign-up is required and anyone can join throughout the year. See you in the gym!
Are you interested in competing at the District Spelling Bee? Then be sure to sign up for the Spelling Bee tutorial for next Thursday, December 19th. Students from 6th, 7th, or 8th grade are welcome to sign up. We will be taking a spelling pre-test that day, so please bring a pencil! We're looking forward to seeing you!
Have you seen my water bottle, jacket, shoe or glasses? If you are missing something, make sure to check out Powell’s lost in found before Wednesday. Glasses, keys, phones and other valuable items are kept in the office and everything else is located in the back of the lunchroom. Any items that remain unclaimed on Wednesday will be donated.
This is a reminder. 7th grade boys basketball begins today after school in the gym.
Congratulations to Sam Siegal, who is the winner of the 8th grade Sertoma Freedom Essay Contest. Sam will be honored with a plaque in the Powell trophy case and a monetary prize. If you see Sam today, please congratulate him for his hard work!
