Good luck to our 8th grade girls volleyball teams today as they travel to take on the Euclid Falcons.
Attention all Battle of the Books participants! Due to the snow day, we rescheduled our next meeting for TOMORROW.
This is our last chance for practice rounds before our POWELL MIDDLE SCHOOL COMPETITION in April and the DISTRICT COMPETITION in May. Please make sure you have added your practice questions to your group's documents by tonight!
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Jordan or Mrs. Calkins. We look forward to battling with you on Friday!
Hey Pumas, Fitness Finals is upon us!
This Friday will be the Individual Pacer. If you qualified, you received your pass on Monday and we hope to see you there. Go to CORE+ to start your day and head down to the gym at 8:45 to check in and get ready to run the best lines of your life!
Don't forget to sign up for the tutorial as well today in CORE+
Our 7th grade girls volleyball battled Newton in front of a huge crowd on Monday. Our A team fought hard but lost in 3 sets with impressive serving from Haley Crozier and Delilah Fisbeck. Elliot Price and Kendall Helm were on the court leaders with their hustle plays and communication with their teammates. Our B team came up just short as well, losing in 3 sets. Gemma Strouse was a force when serving. Sylvie Peterson was a passing machine with Kanada Hicks and Sarah Martineau hustling for difficult hits. Our C team was dominant, winning in 2 sets and having the best serves of the night! Rebecca Morris made an impressive 8 point run on her serving. Danna Bautista also had two great runs while serving and the team played really well together the entire night. Come support our last home game on the Wednesday after break!
Thank you to all of our puma staff and students for your donations and support of the Pennies for Patients program. Our NJHS students did a great job counting every last coin we received and we were able to raise almost $2,000 to donate to LLS.
Congratulations to Mrs. Donda for the win this year. Kudos to her dedicated students who created a plan for donations and even did their own fundraising to raise money to donate. Mrs. Boehmler's CORE+ came in 2nd place and Mr. Genson's CORE+ came in 3rd.
Thank you again to everyone for their support
Attention NJHS students - your hours are due TOMORROW. Please bring them to Mrs. Donda by 3:30 tomorrow. If you are still in need of school hours, come see Mrs. Jay at lunch today or Mr. Croan at lunch tomorrow.
It’s that time of year again, Pumas! That’s right, it’s time for Tennis Club with Coach Ennis. Tennis Club will start the Tuesday we return from spring break, April 2nd. Meet on the tennis courts after school and play until 4:45. If you have a racquet bring it, but if you need one there will be extras provided. There will be a ball machine to practice your forehand and backhand and courts to play against your classmates, so come out, have fun, and learn how to play!
