If so, sign up for the Littleton Police Jr Academy this summer. The academy is Monday, June 17th - Friday the 21st, and it is FREE! If you are interested pick up a flyer in the office or talk to Office Fisher. The registration deadline is June first and is limited to 30 participants, so register early!

Missing a jacket, water bottle, your glasses, or other item? Don’t forget to check the lost and found before you leave today. If you are missing something valuable like jewelry or glasses come to the office and if it’s clothing or school supplies then look at the cart in the cafetorium.

Lastly, teachers and students: There is an adorable duck family that has taken to nesting in the small garden on the east side of the school. The lovely mama duck has eggs in a nest right up against the school and is dutifully trying to keep those little ones safe and get them ready to hatch. The dad is also on guard in the mornings.

When you are outside please stay away from mama duck and her eggs.

The last fitness final on Friday was a barn burner. The Partner Pacer was an exciting competition with Caden Muller & Cam Carnes running 191 lines for the boys. Katie Usagani & Erin Dickes ran 146 lines for the girls' competition, and in the co-ed competition, the winners were Gemma Strouse & Devin Vigil with 154 lines. Great job to all who participated in this year's Fitness Finals! Go Pumas!

Congratulations to our 8th-grade boys volleyball team for a great season! For a group of first-time players, they were pretty amazing! The Mile Fitness Finalists came to burn up the track this past Friday! 16 of the 18 runners crushed their own qualifying times! Top speedsters are awarded to Erin Dickes with a time of 6:34 for the girls and Caden Muller with a time of 5:27 for the boys! Way to go and we sure will miss seeing you next year when you go to burn up the track as Freshman :0)

Last night the boys volleyball club traveled to Cimarron Middle School to play games against 2 teams!
The boys walked away with one win and one loss in 3 sets. Even when they got down, they didn’t give up. With people being thrown in when the team needed a change, they adjusted and made it work. Great job boys! Good luck against your parents tonight!!!

Congratulations to all of our Timed Run Fitness Final runners who competed last Friday. We had a ton of PRs and two school records.
In 8th grade, Caden Muller tied Maddox Mangers from last year with 13.5 laps and Erin Dickes beat the record of 10.5 (Alexa LeDuff & Cecelie Franklin) with an astounding 10.75! Two new school records!
In 7th grade, our winners were Henry Turner with 12 laps and Olivia Millner-Calvo with 10 laps. Our 6th grade champs were Melissa Stone with 9.25 laps and Silas Folk with 12.25 laps.

On Friday our boys volleyball club played 3 teams, and took 3 wins with it!
Each player put their all out on the court with consistent communication, determination, and lots of fun! The boys really zoned in and are improving every time they play.

BOYS: Check in with your CORE+ teacher for attendance, then quickly make your way down to run your heart out!
Any CORE+ classes that would like to come out and cheer the boys on, please do! I'm sure they'd love the support. We just ask that you please keep all students outside the fence line.

Our two Powell teams took home a 1st place trophy and a 3rd place trophy at the District Battle of the Books competition at Littleton Prep on Thursday. All competitors represented Powell in a way to make us all proud to be a Puma! After a tough lightning round to break a tie, winning the 3rd place trophy, was the. Bookworms team led by captain, Jackson Machado, including Shaun O'Donnell, David Abiri, Evelyn Preisinger, and Sadie Vick.

Congratulations to the District-wide, 1st place winning team Bookworms, Jr! This team was led by captain, Ellie Milbrath, and included Cleo Hebener-Moyer, Emme Smith, Delilah Fisbeck, and Olivia Simpson. This team successfully scored the highest points by answering challenging questions in all 3 rounds of competition to capture the 1st place championship.

Please congratulate each of them when you see them for their months of preparation and great teamwork to earn this honor.
