Congratulations to the 5 Powell students whose poems were recently selected to be published in “A Celebration of Poets” from the Creative Communication Spring 2024 Writing Contest! Only a select number of entries submitted from across the nation are invited to be published in their poetry anthology.

Good luck to our top 10 Battle of the Books participants who will represent Powell at the District Battle of the Books competition at Littleton Prep on Thursday after school.
Team 1 is The Bookworms led by captain, Jackson Machado. His team includes Shaun O'Donnell, David Abiri, Evelyn Preisinger, and Sadie Vick.
Team 2 is Bookworms, Jr. led by captain, Ellie Milbrath. Her team includes Cleo Hebener-Moyer, Emme Smith, Delilah Fisbeck, and Olivia Simpson.
Wish them luck as they lead the Pumas to victory on Thursday afternoon!
