Attention all Pumas! If you have not purchased a yearbook, bring a check for $45 made payable to Powell Middle School to Ms. Lesan in the office. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to get a yearbook before they sell out.

Join us for the Ice Cream Social on May 9th at 4:30 pm.
If the weather is good, we will have lots of outdoor fun and, of course, ice cream!!!
Next Thursday at 4:30 pm, be there screaming for ice cream!

Cast of Once Upon a Mattress, we have one final rehearsal on Monday, May 6 from 4-5:15. If you can NOT make it, please let Mrs. Enley or Mrs. Stephens know. Otherwise see you on the stage Monday!

We had such an amazing turnout for the 6th and 8th grade Timed Run yesterday morning, truly, our best turnout ever!
In the 30 minute timed run, 8th grade rocked it with Ava Escorcia crushing a Powell record blazing 18 laps, while Kevin Andersen pushed his best with 17.25 laps. Great job to all of the 8th grade. We'll miss seeing you on the Powell track next year.
For the 20 minute timed run, 6th grade is just getting going for the Pumas with some amazing drive! For the boys, a phenomenal push and tied school record was made by Austin Shepherd with 12.25 laps! Brenna Higgins won it for the girls by holding on strong with the lead at 10.25 laps.
We are so proud of all our runners. Way to give it your best shot!

Next week's fitness finals events have been flip flopped. PLEASE take note:
Tuesday during CORE+ will be the Partner Mile.
Thursday will be the Plank during the 1st assembly.

Those in the play performance on Thursday, who have qualified for the Plank & want to participate, see Ms. Becker BEFORE Thursday to test ahead of time .
