Tuesday morning, the Powell track was on fire with the Partner Mile Finals!
18 groups had their personal best times and each group pushed the others to do their best!
There was almost a total sweep for beating our Powell records by all 3 groups! I'm telling ya, there were flames coming out of these runners shoes!
For the girls, Ava Mitchell and Ava Escorcia beat their own Powell school record by just a little over a second with a jaw dropping time of 4:53.79.
Our Co-Ed team of Hayden Jones and Garrett Gurley, crushed their sibling predecessors school record by 8 seconds with a time of 4:49.91. Ahhh...sweet sibling rivalry at its finest!
And the boys team of Jack Dimig and Kevin Andersen missed the Powell record by a half second with a blazing time of 4:27.93!
