Listen up, generous Pumas! This month’s Sources of Strength Generosity Campaign is sponsoring a toy drive benefiting Children’s Hospital. Donated toys are used to help normalize the hospital experience and make the holiday season, birthdays, and other special events memorable for patients and families.
Toys must be brand new and in their original packaging. Children’s Hospital can not accept toy guns, latex balloons, or food. Infants, toddlers, and adolescents are the age groups in greatest need.
Bring unwrapped toys into the front office anytime between now and Thursday, December 16th. Thank you!
Magic: The Gathering will meet today after school in Mrs. Blake's room (1068). All experience levels are welcome! Hope to see you there!
Attention NJHS students. We NEED your help this week. Please check the schedule posted in Google Classroom and come to as many sessions as you are available so that we can get our project done by Friday. See Mrs. Jay or Mrs. Donda with any questions.

The 8th grade girl's basketball teams played hard at Euclid on Saturday to finish their season.
B team scrapped it up, as usual, but the ball just did not fall through the hoop in our favor. Having her best game of the season, Lorana Johnson, had nice rebounds, drives to the hoop and quick instincts, while Sophia Orley & Addi Marciano saw the ball at some crucial points for some amazing steals! Great hustle girls and nice work this season!
The entire A team played an absolutely, hard fought game against Newton, but fell short to their shooting percentage. Our defense was spot on the entire game but most of all, the girls played with heart until the very end. Macie Miller fought tooth and nail for every ball, while Olivia Soto & Alexa LeDuff kept us on the board.
Mrs. Thurmond and Ms. Bowlen couldn't be any more proud of all of you.
Uniforms need to be washed and turned in by Wednesday at the Lunch Team celebration. See you there!
Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball. If you are in 8th grade, your season begins tomorrow, that's Tuesday, December 14. If you are in 7th grade, your season begins Wednesday, December 15. Please meet your coaches after school in the gym on the day your season begins, dressed and ready to play.
