Friday, February 10th

On Wednesday night, Powell’s Unified Team played Goddard. The energy was high, the cheering section was top notch and our athletes gave their all! A special shout-out to Ben Heimer and Asher Englebert for their countless baskets and enthusiasm! Thank you to ALL staff and students who came out to cheer on the team. Way to go Pumas !

Last night your 8th grade boys played in the semi finals vs. Newton. Caleb Meier was relentless when cutting to the basket, ready for a pass. Charlie Turner had incredible accuracy when assisting his teammates with countless baskets. On B team, Cole McNulty was assertive and aggressive with many good takes. After a tough fight, both A and B team unfortunately lost. However, the season is not ever. All teams will play in the tournament at Newton this Saturday. C team plays at 8am, B team plays at 9am, and the A team plays at 10am. Come out to support your Pumas!

Attention 6th graders who took art 2nd quarter: your castles from last quarter must be picked up by this Friday!

Have you lost your coat, water bottle, or book? Lost and found in the cafeteria is overflowing. Please take a moment at lunch to look for your item. Also, remember that valuables like jewelry, watches and electronics are stored in the office.

Do you have a great story to tell? Would you like to be featured in our amazing yearbook? The yearbook staff is looking for stories about overcoming a difficult situation or health issue. We are also looking for students who have accomplished a victory in a sport, hobby, skill, or talent you would be willing to share in the yearbook. If you have one of these stories, PLEASE go to Powell's Website to fill out our form on the front page to submit your yearbook highlight story.
