Congratulations to Adaline Kacinski for her award winning “What Freedom Means to Me” essay in this year’s Freedom Essay Contest sponsored by the Littleton Sertoma Club. Adaline’s words have earned her $100 and recognition at the Sertoma Club’s Freedom Week awards banquet in February. Well done, Adaline!
Attention 7th and 8th graders! Do you like to play video games? Well you’re in luck. Powell will be starting an eSports Club second semester. An informational meeting will be held in Ms. Boehmler’s, room 1044, next week on Thursday for 7th graders who are interested. An 8th grade informational meeting will be held on Monday, December 16. PRIDE Leaders - We will be having our second meeting with the sixth graders next Thursday. Please plan to attend a training in Mrs.Blake’s room during lunch on Friday, December 6 or Monday, December 9. Check Google Classroom for the details.
Our awesome Nutrition Services will be hosting a festive sweater day on Friday, December 13th. For this promotion, we are encouraging all students and staff to come eat lunch with us with their most festive, silly, sweater! The school with the highest participation will win a hot chocolate day at lunch the following week.
Attention NJHS Students: There is an optional lunch session today in Mr. Croan’s room to finish the posters from yesterday. Also, just a reminder that we need wrapping paper! Please bring a roll in to Mrs. Donda by Monday of next week.
