Your 8th grade volleyball C teams took on an impressive Options team. The opponents had consistent serves and could bump the ball very well. The pumas did their best to hang but too many times their passes went astray. Along with that Options had a young lady with the best serve the coaches have ever seen at the C level. Audrey G did her best to pass the great serve and on multiple occasions was able to get some good touches on the ball. Unfortunately the clutch serves of Options were too much to over come as both C teams lost in 2 games. Come over to Euclid on Wednesday to support the girls.
Your 8th Grade Panoramic Pictures will be taken on Monday, September 9th at 3:00 PM in the gym. Come support our 8th grade girls volleyball teams as they welcome Options today after school.
Your 8th grade girls volleyball teams started the season off right. The A girls played a feisty team from Newton, but the skill level from the Powell girls was too much as they won in 2 competitive games. Rowan H was a serving machine while Kylee C was a setting and hitting machine. The B girls had some clutch serves from Bella S and Sophia L which allowed the B girls to win the first game easily. The second game was a back and forth affair but Newton pulled it out in the end as the Powell girls struggled to communicate with one another. The 3rd game was once again controlled by the serves from Powell as they won in convincing fashion, 15-3. The C girls struggled to complete a pass to the setter throughout their match. In the first game the girls did just enough to hang in there only to lose in extra points. The second game was not the girls best performance and they would like to move on from it. Come out today after school as the C girls look to improve against Options.
