Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball teams on their hard fought games against Newton last night! The A team kept it close with stellar defense and some timely three-point shooting, and fell just short of beating the Knights, losing 37 to 32. Brady Bergstrom led Puma scoring with 14 points and 4 steals. The B team also lost a heart-breaker 35 to 30. Even with Antonio Wadsworth's 10 points and Thomas Sweetman's 6 rebounds, not enough shots went in for a victory. The C team battled through a back-and-forth game and won a close one 23 to 21! Gabe Doehler, Dylan Davis, and Tate Mitchell each had 4 points as the Pumas finished a great night against Newton! Congratulations boys!
Good Morning, MathCounts members. It has been determined who will be on the Powell team to compete next weekend. Please check Google Classroom for results. We will have our last meeting before the competition next Thursday morning.
