Good luck to our 8th grade boys basketball teams today as they travel to take on the Newton Knights. And, attention all 6th graders interested in playing basketball at Powell. Your first meeting is Thursday, January 30. Please meet you coaches in the gym that day dressed and ready to play.

If you have lost anything make sure to check the LOST and FOUND in the cafeteria TODAY! Powell is clearing out all of our lost and found areas and Items that remain on Wednesday morning will be donated. Don’t forget to check for that missing jacket or Hydroflask.
This is a reminder that auditions for the spring play will be starting after school today at 4--and continuing tomorrow and Thursday! Please arrive promptly outside of Mr. Kelley’s room--Room 1039--so you can fill out your pre-audition form. Break a leg!
Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team on their great games last night against Euclid! The A team dominated on both sides of the floor in a 46 to 32 victory! Joshua Acker and Michael Moynihan both led all scorers with 8 points and David Moritz snagged 5 rebounds. The B team also dominated 42 to 14. Jason Yenne and Be Scelza both led the way with 7 points a piece, and Ben added 7 rebounds to the Puma victory as well. The C team lost a close one in overtime by one point, 22 to 21. Tate Mitchell scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds in the game. The boys take on Newton tonight on the road. Congratulations Pumas!
