Have you ever wanted to know more about the world around you? Do you have a unique skill of answering trivia questions without really knowing how you know the things you know? Do you like the connection between geography, culture, and science? Are you just wanting to join a fun club at Powell? Then please come join the fun for GeoClub in room 3058 on most Thursdays, starting this Thursday, Jan. 6 after school.
Attention NJHS students - your next meeting is TOMORROW at 9:30 am in Mrs. Donda's room. Please be on time and bring your documents for hours if you have not yet turned them in from last quarter.

Congratulations to Taylor Karsten as Powell's winner of the Sertoma Club's Freedom Essay Contest! Taylor's "What Freedom Means to Me" essay was selected from over 25 submissions by Powell 8th grade students, and she and her work will be honored at the Freedom Week awards banquet in February at the Pinehurst Country Club. Well done, Taylor!
