Calling all eighth graders! Are you interested in speaking at the Continuation Ceremony this year? If so, pick up a flier from your Language Arts teacher and bring your prepared speech to audition in Ms. Jayasanker's room on Thursday, May 5. Although the speech doesn’t need to be perfect for the audition, it’s really helpful if you rehearse beforehand!
Powell’s next Dining for Dollars is this Thursday at Papa Johns! 20% of sales will be donated to our school! Order online or over the phone, for Delivery or Carryout – all day long! Thursday, May 5th!
When ordering, mention or enter promo code: SCHOOL1 to receive credit.
As a community service project, Ms. Jayasanker's and Mrs. Toland's Core Plus students have sorted, organized, and delivered lost-and-found items from twenty different classrooms. There are dozens of water bottles, clothing items, and school supplies leftover without any identification. Please plan to look at the Lost-and-Found Pick-Up tables near the ramp on Wednesday and Friday morning this week to claim your items.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream - especially when it is dished up by Powell staff members. Come join us next Thursday, May 12, from 4:30-5:50 for the Student Appreciation Ice Cream Social located on the concrete by the basketball courts. Have your parents complete the RSVP that is going home TODAY to let us know you’re attending.
