Your 8th-grade girls volleyball girls wrapped up their season with 2 wins on Saturday. The B girls got things started by winning in three competitive games. The girls never wavered in how they played the game as they worked for three hits the entire match. The girls earned the win in those three games thanks to amazing serves from Kacky R and Emery M.

The A girls took the court against the feisty team from Euclid. The girls let a late lead slip away from them as they had to fight back in clutch time to get the win in the first game 27-25. The second game the girls out hit Euclid 27 - 5 but Euclid was able to keep things close with their serves. But Lilah V would not be stopped as her clutch serves in both games finished the job. And if you weren't there you should have seen and heard some of Morgan A's hits - wow.

The C girls were the only ladies playing for the championship. They came out of the gates strong as they narrowly won the first game. The Vikings pushed back and won the second game. The girls scrapped and clawed for every loose ball but Goddard's serves were too much as the girls lost in that third game. Great serves were seen from Lily E, Tatum K, Avery L and Katelynn M.

Be sure to congratulate the girls on a fantastic season. Girls, please listen later in the week for when our party is going to be for us to celebrate the season.
