Thespian Troupe is open again to all Pumas this Thursday. We are done preparing for ThesCon and want you back to prepare for our next big thing! Come see what the fuss is about this Thursday at our Thespian Troupe meeting on the stage at 3:40- 4:45pm

Attention all 8th graders. Have your parents talked about buying you a Baby Ad in our yearbook? Well, the deadline is this Friday! Make sure your parents don't forget, because there will be no late submissions. Again, baby ads are due this Friday!

Last week some of your brave Thespians from our Thespian Troupe competed in ThesCon which is our state competition. There were 2500 middle school thespians all competing in different categories. All 20 of our thespians performed well and represented Powell in a positive way, a double superior is the highest rating an actor can receive. So here are our top results: our sixth-grade musical group made up of Maddie Hathaway, Annalicia Hernandez, Mila Derby and Aubrie Snook earned an Excellent/Superior rating, an 8th grader named Addie Jones also earned an Excellent/Superior rating, but our highest in the troupe and highest score you can earn with a double superior goes to a 7th grader......Ellie Millbrath! Congratulations to these thespians and all who competed with a special acknowledgement to our tech challenge group who competed for the first time at ThesCon! We are very proud of the work it took for you to get there and hope to see you next year.
