Attention all 8th grade girls interested in participating in basketball this year. Your season begins Monday, September 30. If you are interested in playing basketball at Powell this year, please turn in your paperwork to the main office and meet your coaches after school in the gym on Monday, dressed and ready to play. Please stop by Mrs. Marshall’s room to pick up your paperwork if you haven’t already done so.
Reminder for 7th Grade Track: Monday will be when you turn in your jerseys. We will meet in the Library during your lunch.
Attention all wrestlers, your season starts this next Tuesday, October 1st in the small gym. See Coach Sprague in room 3064 on the top floor for information and paperwork. As stated in the next announcement, you must have turned your paperwork in to the office to be able to participate.
The 8th grade track district tournament was last night at Newton. Our Powell girls put in an impressive effort and ended up with a 3rd place finish. The boys managed to pull through on a very close victory to become district champions for the 6th consecutive year. Congratulations to our 8th grade boys track team!
