Show your spirit this Friday for our first Broncos home game. Wear your jerseys, t shirts or sweatshirts. Don’t have anything that says “Broncos”, wear orange or blue.
Are you planning to play in the kickball tournament, a week from today, on Thursday, September 19th, but haven’t turned in your kickball packet forms? You're in luck & still have time! Drop them off in the attendance office with Mrs. Durbin by Tuesday, September 17th. We’ll see you on the field or in line for churros and hot dogs! Be there or be square!

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week.The week is about how to educate ourselves and others on warning signs for suicide and ways we can intervene. Keep your eye on the Counseling Google Classroom for resources throughout the week. As always, if you or someone you know might need support, feel free to make an appointment with your counselor or talk to your trusted adult.
Magic: The Gathering Club will meet for the first time this school year after school, next Monday, September 16, in Mrs. Blake’s room, 1068. All experience levels and legal decks are welcome. Review your strategy, set your deck, and join us for some fun competition!

The 8th grade home track meet against Goddard was a success! Both boy’s and girl’s teams came out victorious, with girls leading 51 to 64 and boys 31 to 86. Out of 13 events, Powell girls secured first place in 9 events and for the boys, 11 events. It was a fantastic meet with hard work and perseverance! We hope to see you at the next home meet against Newton on Wednesday the 18th.
