One final reminder: 7th grade girls basketball begins today, after school in the main gym..
Pumas, have you told your family about the Prowl yet? What are you waiting for?! Write it in your planner right now and make it a date to get a run and some fun this coming Monday after school! It’s free and there are many prizes to be won. Oh ya, did I mention that the Top 3 winners in each grade & gender win a t-shirt and gift card? #1 Girl and #1 Boy overall, also get their name engraved on the everlasting Puma Prowl plaque. Get those running shoes ready & let’s get after it Pumas! See you all next Monday!
8th grade track athletes, the end of year party will be in the library after school on Thursday. Please bring your washed uniform!

Monday is the World Day of Bullying Prevention. To show that you stand against bullying, wear blue! On this day, you will also have an opportunity to sign the pledge that No Place for Hate created and show your commitment to our school and community in preventing bullying!
8th graders heading to Washington DC please remember two quick items. Please turn in those papers that Mr. Genson handed out to you. If this is the first time you are hearing about these papers, then please see Mr. G ASAP. Secondly, please don’t forget that we have a MANDATORY meeting on October 9th at 6:00 PM here at Powell in the cafeteria. Those of you who are interested, please remember to turn in your essay to lay the wreath at the tomb of the unknowns by TOMORROW.
