Are you a current 6th or 7th grader who wants to start seeing the world?!  You are being offered the chance to join Ms. Goerke on a trip to the ISLANDS OF THE AZORES in Summer 2026!  Bring a parent or guardian to the informational meeting on Tuesday, October 29 at 6pm in our cafeteria.  Ms. Goerke will share all the exciting details with you then.  If you did not get the RSVP code, please see Ms. Goerke in room 1067.

Our 8th grade girls hosted the Goddard Vikings last night in our first games of the season.  The A team showed amazing teamwork and composure and was able to secure their first victory!  Kendall Helm was a leader for the Pumas with 8 points and 5 steals.  Sarah Martineau and Rebecca Morris crashed the boards with a combined 19 rebounds.  Congratulations A team!  Our B team fought hard the entire game and continued into overtime, but fell just 2 points short.  Gemma Strouse led all scorers with 10 points while Emme Smith and Jay Garvey each grabbed 8 rebounds.  We are so proud of both our teams!

Student Council is sponsoring another hometown spirit day.  Please wear your Nuggets attire this Thursday, October 24th for the Nuggets first home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Our 7th and 8th grade Wrestling team had the first meet of the season last night at Goddard and it was an exciting evening of combat sport. There were 43 wrestling matches and we won 26 of them and lost 17. There were so many impressive performances last night that we can’t list them all, but Coaches Altena and Sprague wanted to recognize Jack Bednorz, Reese Davis, Andrew Garduza, Myles Horne, Danna Bautista, and Gavin Troupe for especially impressive wins. Pumas, we have a great wrestling team and you can see us compete in person tomorrow for our first home meet against Euclid!
