Attention 8th grade track athletes BOYS and GIRLS! Your end of track season celebration will be taking place on Wednesday, October 13 during lunch. Please bring your cleaned uniform, $3 and your amazing positive energy. We will be distributing tournament awards for a job well done. See Coach Gaston or Coach Sprague if you have any questions.
Are you planning to play in the kickball tournament on Thursday, October 21st, but haven’t turned in your kickball packet forms? You're in luck! We are still accepting kickball team forms. Drop them off in the attendance office with Mrs. Durbin by Tuesday, October 19. We’ll see you on the field or in line for churros and hot dogs!

Now is your chance to purchase a baby ad to commemorate your child's 8th grade year in The Prowl's award winning publication. An Alert Now email was sent home last Friday, October 1st with details regarding how to purchase a baby ad. All ads will be created online through Herff Jones Online Ad Creation site, at www.YearbookOrderCenter.com Three sizes of ads are available, but the deadline to purchase an ad online is Sunday, October 31st. Magic the Gathering is returning to Powell! The first meeting of the Magic the Gathering Club will be right after school next Monday, October 18, in Mrs. Blake's room (1068). All levels of players from beginner to Master of Magic are welcome. Set your deck, prepare your strategy and join the fun. Please make sure you have a way home at 5:00.
