Ok, 8th grade girl ballers, we would love to have more of you out for the Powell Basketball team! The next practice is tomorrow from 4-5. If you need a bus ride home, there will be an activity bus offered right after practice. Any questions, see Mrs. Thurmond, Ms. Bowlen or Mr. Lacey.


This is a reminder to all 7th grade girls: your basketball season begins today. Please meet your coaches after school in the gym.

Do you love cookie dough, churros, or Chili Cheese Dogs?? It's Food Truck Night!! Don’t care about kickball?? Well join us for Food Trucks!! On Thursday, October 21st, not only will we be holding a kickball tournament, but we also will have two delicious food trucks!

Are you planning to play in the kickball tournament on Thursday, but you forgot to turn in your kickball packet forms? You're in luck! We are still accepting kickball team forms. You can drop them off in the attendance office with Mrs. Durbin today or tomorrow. Join us for some food and some fun this Thursday!!

Wednesday morning basketball club starts this week. All Powell students are welcome to join from 8:45 9:45 on late start Wednesdays for informal basketball time. No prior experience is necessary and we hope to see you there!

Happy Tuesday, Pumas! Today is the day you will choose a healthy activity for tutorials on Thursday. Our Sources of Strength peer leaders challenge you to try something new! If you are not up for that challenge, choose an activity that you enjoy. We guarantee this week's healthy activity options will get your day off to a good start and remember, using these strengths is how we get through those days that are not our best! Enjoy this week's tutorial offerings.

Congratulations to our 2021-22 Technology Student Association Board. The following students will be leading our Powell TSA group this year. Our amazing leaders are President Heidi Hucke, Vice President Heather Wember, Secretary Leif Stewart, Treasurer Amy Castillo, Reporter Adam Thurmond and Sergeant at Arms Landon Griess. Way to go PUMAS! Our next TSA meeting is Thursday, October 21. Be prepared to finalized team and individual events, submitting forms and begin work on design portfolios for your events.
