Your Powell 6th Grade Wrestling Team competed in their first matches of the season last night at our wrestling festival and showed a great deal of heart. We won five matches and lost six, but battled like warriors in every single one. A special acknowledgment goes out to Chrisitan Flores, who won both his matches by pin. Coaches Sprague and Whalin are very proud of the entire squad and are excited about the future. Also sports fans, our 7th and 8th Grade Wrestling Team faces off against Euclid in the main gym after school today! Come cheer for your pumas this evening as they compete in a combat sport featuring more than 40 matches!

Come support our 7th and 8th-grade wrestlers as they welcome the Euclid Falcons after school today for their first meet of the season. And, good luck to our 8th-grade girls basketball teams as they travel to Newton for their season opener.
