If you are interested in joining Jazz Band this year at Powell, rehearsals begin on September 13th, and will be held every Tuesday morning from 8:00-8:45 am. If you play a woodwind or brass instrument, you can join with no need to audition. Just show up on the 13th! If you are interested in playing in the rhythm section, which includes keyboard and drumset, then please come to the rhythm section audition on Thursday, September 8th at 8:30 am in Mr. Eilert's room.
The Technology Student Association or TSA will be holding our first information meeting on Wednesday, Sept 7, at 4:50pm in room 1210. If you like to design, build, create and problem solve TSA may be just the group for you! Students prepare for competitive events in areas such as Comic book design, mousetrap cars, electronics, dragster design and fashion design. See you there!
