Attention Magic: The Gathering players: The first meeting of the Magic: The Gathering Club will be next Monday, November 7 after school in Mrs. Blake's room (1068). Please make sure you have a way home when the playing ends at 5:00.
YOUR Puma Wrestling team faced off against the strong and athletic Vikings from Goddard. As usual, they showed up well coached and ready to battle, but we won 17 matches to 10. A full twelve of our victories were by pin! Again, there are too many great performances to list all, but special props go out to the following athletes: Dylan Comstock for winning three separate matches last night, and Jack Forbes for 2 pins. In addition, we still have seven undefeated wrestlers: Cam Carnes, Maddox Mangers, Kaiden Vaughn, Tully Becker, Easton Calvin, Fletcher Farley, and Jack Forbes. Folks, YOU have a great wrestling team and we have a strong chance of bringing home THE coveted District Championship. Our next meet is Tomorrow at Euclid after school. It is very close to us, so we would really love it if you could come and support YOUR Team tomorrow
The 5th annual Chili Cook off is a friendly and tasty competition for all of Pumas to enjoy! Please join us on November 17th in the cafeteria from 5:30-7pm for some great comfort food and a chance to connect with our wonderful Powell community. Let’s feel & show the gratitude of those involved, our loved ones and our community of Pumas!

If you would like to be selected for the Introductory Tutorial on November 11, please complete the form that your LA teachers have posted in their Google Classrooms. Congratulations to our 8th grade girls A team on their decisive victory over Euclid. They controlled the game from the tip off and showed hustle, discipline and amazing fundamentals! Our B team fought hard and showed great poise under pressure as they pulled of an exciting overtime victory! Great job ladies!
