Congratulations to Maggie Usagani for representing Powell with a close 2nd-place finish at the district chess tournament on Saturday! We also had strong competitors with Weston Sprague finishing in 4th place, and Grant Brandberg in 7th place. Also, to be recognized, Grant was awarded the Outstanding Sportsman award. Please congratulate these students when you see them.
Attention chess club members. This is a reminder that we have chess club tomorrow after school. We will be celebrating Powell's outstanding performance at the district tournament, and you won't want to miss it!
This is a reminder to 8th-grade boys who’d like to play basketball for Powell this year, your season begins today. 7th-grade boy's basketball begins tomorrow!
Good Morning, this is Kate and Brook. We wanted to remind everyone that we are collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House. They support families who have children who need medical care. You can bring in new things like laundry detergent for sensitive skin, nail clippers and files, toilet paper, small trash bags, food storage containers, zip lock bags, new books and games, and individually packaged snacks. Thank you for your generosity and we hope you had a wonderful day!
If you are interested in auditioning for the Spring play, Bedtimes Stories, you will want to attend our audition workshop next Wednesday after school on the stage from 4-5pm. All questions answered and great advise on preparing for the auditions that will be in January. Please attend if you are considering auditioning for our play.

This Friday, December 16, will be the last weekly CORE card drawing of 2022. Next Wednesday, December 21, will be the Semester CORE card drawing. For this, all CORE cards turned in throughout the semester are put back in the mix! Turn in those CORE cards for a chance to win some pumarific prizes!
Dungeons and Dragons club is cancelled all of this week. Again, there is no D&D meeting today or Thursday.
