The 8th grade C girls took on the girls from Options on Thursday night. The Options girls came out with amazing serves and fantastic bumps as they dominated our girls in two quick games. The Powell girls seemed flat as their energy level never seemed to peak.

The next group of C girls was determined to bring more energy to the court. So much so that the girls were able to get a bump, set, and hit on the overhand serve from Options. It was the highlight of the match as the girls were able to pull out the win in three games.

Please get out there and support the girls as they start their playoffs when we get back from Washington DC.



Do you want to help better our community? We are looking for donations of various items to donate to families in need in our community by creating giving baskets during our PBIS giving day on April 19th. We are collecting new items including the following: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, hairbrushes, soap, lotion, nail clippers, deodorant, supplies for first aid kits nonperishable items such as cans of soup, fruit, or vegetables, Please bring in items to Mrs. Calkins in room 3058 no later than April 19th.


As you enter our building you will see a box on the ramp where we are collecting usable shoes. Soles for Souls gives lightly worn shoes to those in need. The box will be here until the end of this month, so clean out those closets!
