Thank you, thank you, thank you! For Ms. Calkins' and Mrs. Gaston's CORE+ community minded project, the Powell school community contributed personal care products and food donations. We put together 20 personal care bags and will have a box of food that will be given today to Littleton's Life program, and Littleton's food pantry. A special thank you to Calkins' and Gaston's CORE+ for writing kind and uplifting notes that were included in each personal care bag.

We had a small, but mighty group of athletes yesterday morning for the Mile Finals!
It was a race to the finish for both the girls and boys with every single participant improving upon their mile time. Phenomenal effort and sportsmanship was shown by all!
In the girls mile, Alexa LeDuff took first, passing up Audrey Thiel in the last 200 meters with a final time of 6:14, with Audrey not far behind at 6:16.
For the boys , it was neck in neck with Dylan Escorcia taking 1st with a blazing time of 5:16, followed by Maddox Mangers at 5:17 and Liam Folk at 5:18!
Way to go runners!! It's always amazing to see how hard you work and how much growth you've made!

REMINDER that girls JumpRope Finals are tomorrow. We hope you signed up for the tutorial! 8TH Grade Girls who qualified and are going to DC, PLEASE SEE Ms. Bowlen OR Dr. Folk to compete ahead of time. It can be done at lunch, before, or after school today.
