7th graders listen up. Now is the time for you to act. The registration for NEXT year's Washington DC trip has started. The trip will take place during the fall of your 8th grade year. If I have gotten you interested - then good. The informational meeting about the Washington DC trip will be on Wednesday the 17th @ 6:30 PM in Powell's cafeteria. This is the first year that we are offering an extra discount so be sure to pay attention to the announcements or come ask Mr. Genson about the details. Please stop by room 3066 if you can't make it to the meeting or if you have any questions. Otherwise we will see you on Wednesday night @ 6:30 here at Powell.
We would like to recognize 3 Powell students for outstanding performances at the Stride this year! Landon Griess finished in 1st place in the boys 13-15 year old 10K race, Liam Folk finished in 1st place in the boys 10-12 year old 5K race and Jackson Waller finished in 2nd place in the boys 10-12 year old 5K race. Congratulations Puma athletes!
