Hey Pumas, it may not feel like Chili eating weather outside, but no matter the temperature, join us for the Chili Cookoff on December 9th for some of the best chili tasting around!
Remember, you can join in any way...as a participant in the chili competition or just as an eating participant! Either way, it's a great way to join the Puma community!
RSVP by December 2nd if you plan on enjoying the chili & being social, and/or providing a chili. See you on December 9th from 5:30-7 in the cafeteria! Google RSVP form can be found on the Powell Website.

Attention all members of the Powell Wrestling team, your end of season party is this Thursday the 2nd after school in the cafeteria. Bring your clean headgear and singlet to get your deposit checks back. Also, bring $5 for pizza. See Coach Sprague in room 3064 with any questions or to pay him.

PRIDE Leaders - At our meeting before Thanksgiving, you were given a permission slip to help with Powell's Showcase night on Monday, December 6. Attention NJHS students. Your next mandatory meeting is THIS WEDNESDAY, Dec. 1st at 9:15 am in Mrs. Donda's room. Please be on time as we have a guest speaker who will be coming to talk to us about our next service project.

Attention all MathCounts members: Unfortunately, our meeting this week has been canceled. Please check Google Classroom if you want to continue preparing for the competition on your own time.

Last night our 8th grade girls basketball team challenged the Newton Knights. The "A" team rallied hard in the 2nd half with hard work and gumption by Annalise Cote and Macie Miller, yet we couldn't quite capture the lead Newton had obtained in the first half. We look forward to meeting them again in the finals!
The B team came out blazing and kept the lead to win their entire game! Tough defense by Kaitlyn Musgrave, Indiya Bland & Sophia Orley, helped the team hold the Knights down, while Ryley David swished away many hoops to put the score on the board! Great job B team!
Next game is this Thursday at Euclid ...come support your Puma team if you can!
