Attention all PUMAS, the first CORE card drawing of the year is at the end of the day TODAY! Make sure to place your card in a teacher collection box or the appropriate grade level box in the office.

After our election this week for our NJHS officers, we have the results! Our 2021 - 2022 NJHS President is...Nick Parker! Due to a tie in the race for Vice President this year, we will have TWO vice presidents - Max Bandell and Michael Caranna. Congratulations and we look forward to seeing the impact of your leadership this year.
Your 7th and 8th grade Wrestling Team traveled to Euclid last night to face our toughest competition for the coveted district trophy. We won 29 matches and lost 19, and keep improving each week. As is our way, every single athlete fought with pride and determination. Special recognition goes out to the following athletes who had impressive victories against tough opponents: Fletcher Farley, Ezra Pescevic, Mason Mitchell, David Pierce, Jack Robledo, Charlie Turner, Ethan Choi, and Miles Mascarelli. Our next meets are this next Monday and Tuesday, here at Powell! Monday is the 6th grade wrestling festival featuring all four middle schools, and Tuesday is our last home meet of the season against the Vikings from Goddard. Please come on out and support your team!
