7th graders listen up. Now is the time for you to act. The registration for NEXT year's Washington DC trip has started. The trip will take place during the fall of your 8th grade year. If I have gotten you interested - then good. The informational meeting about the Washington DC trip will be on Wednesday the 17th @ 6:30 PM in Powell's cafeteria. This is the first year that we are offering an extra discount so be sure to pay attention to the announcements or come ask Mr. Genson about the details. Please stop by room 3066 if you can't make it to the meeting or if you have any questions. Otherwise we will see you on Wednesday night @ 6:30 here at Powell.

Hey future Puma Chefs! Do you have a favorite chili recipe you just know everyone will love? Or do you just love eating chili? If so, share your love of cooking and/or eating chili at the 3rd annual Chili Cookoff! Whether you like your chili spicy or mild, there has always been a great variety to choose from.
Chili can be made solely by you, a family member, or make it a family affair and create one together! Votes will be tallied and a winner will be announced at the end of the evening, so bring your best creation!
The RSVP was sent in an Alert Now to parents. Have your family rsvp by December 2nd if you plan on enjoying the chili & being social, and/or providing a chili. See you on December 9th from 5:30-7 in the cafeteria!

Sewing club starts today. Please meet in 3040 after school.

Tomorrow student council is sponsoring a hat day. Students who bring in a non-perishable food item can wear a hat for the day. Please bring in canned food tomorrow and let’s fill the food bank to help those who need it.

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls basketball team! They finished the season 5 and 1 with games against Euclid last night. The A team won a tough one 33 to 28, and the B team had their only loss of 28 to 6. Great job!
