Auditions time slots for Next Wednesday are full. No one else can audition on that day. We did open up another day of auditions for TUESDAY next week. If you are still considering auditioning for the musical, you must hurry down to the call board to sign up. Don’t wait and let that day fill up too!
Let's give a big shout out to our 8th grade boys basketball teams as we swept Goddard again last night! A team kept their composure and played disruptive defense to pull away for their win. Nash McMonigle went crazy with the amount of points, steals and rebounds he tallied, way to be everywhere Nash! The A team combined for 40 rebounds with every single player on the team contributing. Miles Upah and Jacob Laderer caused a lot of problems for the Goddard offense as they struggled to get the ball past our two solid guards. Great win A team.
Our Powell B team found themselves in a close game all night, but key 3 point baskets by Adrian Neville and Marshall Pool solidified their victory. Dylan Pearson and Matthew Reynolds led the team in rebounds while Shaun McNatt and Caleb Tritz racked up the steals. This win was truly a team effort by our B team. Well done B team.
Our C team rounded out the night with a commanding victory. Henry Smith was full of energy, hustle and awareness all night long with rebounds, steals and points. Bryce Simon, Jaxson Matthiesen and Gabe Mendoza all hit the boards with a combined 20 rebounds while Christian Flores and Keegan Mead played tough defense and led the team in steals. Way to get 2 victories this week boys!
All students that had STEM or Woods during 1st semester need to visit the Woods or Metals room to pick up all projects. Please pick up your projects by the end of TODAY!
