Good luck to Powell's 7th-grade boys basketball teams as they travel to play the Goddard Vikings after school today.

Congratulations to Naomi Davis and Abbi Jenson for earning 2nd and 3rd place in the Littleton Elks American Essay Contest! They will be honored at a luncheon in February where they will be given their award.

7th graders today is the day. The final deadline to register for next fall's Washington DC trip has finally arrived. If this is the first time you are hearing about it then boo to you, but come by room 3066 and check in with Mr. Genson to figure out your next steps. Get it done 7th graders and we will have an amazing learning experience next October.

It was a great day to be a Puma last night as our 8th grade boys basketball teams swept all three road games against Euclid Middle School!

Our A team started the night off with great intensity. Jacob Laderer and Cole Troup gave the Falcons a lot of trouble with their tough defense while Miles Upah and Nash McMonigle crashed the boards hard. Bennett Smith played cool and composed the entire night and our Pumas came away with a 45-33 victory.

Powell's B team picked up where the A team left off. Tully Becker went crazy on defense with a team high 7 steals! Adrian Neville showed power and smarts and Weston Tjelmeland played his best game of the season collecting rebounds, steals, and assists along with his 6 points. These boys worked together in their 28-11 win.

Our C team came alive in the 4th quarter with important 3-point buckets by Milo Bonnema and Caleb Wright. Christian Flores was all over the boards with 7 rebounds and our C team won 23-17. This amazing group of young men consistently show hustle, teamwork, and sportsmanship every time they step on the court!
